Introduction to the guiding dosage of sodium gluconate

2024-12-25

The use of sodium gluconate in concrete engineering has strict standards. Its use in engineering construction is produced and prepared under scientific configuration conditions and with scientific and reasonable requirements. Only by using it in the standard dosage can sodium gluconate play its role in various engineering construction and achieve better results. Less than the standard dosage or more than the standard dosage will have more or less reduction in performance or effect.

In ordinary concrete engineering, the standard dosage is generally between 0.05 and 1.0, and generally speaking, concrete with a dosage exceeding 0.7 has certain weaknesses in other performances. At 20℃, the dosage for retarding effect for several hours is 0.075; at 20℃, if you want to achieve more hours, the recommended dosage is 0.15; and at room temperature 20℃, if you want to achieve a retarding effect within 2 days, the standard dosage of mortar concrete admixture is 0.25.

Under high temperature conditions, such as oil well operations, high temperatures of 170°C, concrete is more likely to solidify and more likely to crack, so more is needed to achieve the desired retarding effect. Generally, the amount used in this case is 1.00, and the amount required for configuring ultra-strength plasticized concrete is also 1.00. The amount used under normal plasticization requirements in daily life is generally 0.05, which can basically meet our basic construction engineering requirements for concrete retarders. However, it depends on the specific situation. In an environment with special needs, the amount required by special requirements must be used.
