YIGYOOLY Ammonium Cerium Nitrate is uUsed for the determination of trace silver ions, oxidation-reduction titrant, olefin polymerization catalyst.

As an analytical reagent, it is commonly used to prepare redox titration standard solutions, as a chromogenic agent for thin layer chromatography to detect polyols, as a raw material for preparing phosphate sensitive membrane electrode components, and as a reagent for potentiometric titration to determine various amines. It can also be used as an oxidant and catalyst for olefin polymerization.

YIGYOOLY Ammonium Cerium Nitrate is a strong oxidant with strong oxidation ability under acidic conditions, second only to F2, xeo3, ag2+, O3, and HN3. CAN is a single electron oxidant in aqueous solutions and other proton solvents. The consumption of canned food can be judged by the change in color (from orange to light yellow). Due to the limitation of solubility in organic solvents, most reactions involving CAN are carried out in mixed solvents such as water/acetonitrile.
